John Chervinsky
Today we would like to honor the legacy of a great photographer and friend of Pictura, John Chervinsky, who passed away in December of 2015. Chervinsky was a self-taught photographer and an engineer working in the field of applied physics. In his photographs, there is a beautiful correlation between the work of an artist and that of a scientist. He exercised curiosity through play, mixing elements of optics and perspective in his studio as a means to explore human knowledge and perception.
Today we celebrate you, John. Thank you for the beauty that you, and your curiosity and your imagination have added to this world. You are missed.
