A Multipurpose Contemporary Art Space

FAR has four functional spaces, connected by an open atrium, bar, and kitchenette. Our theater accommodates up to 200 guests, with a portable stage and two 12-foot glass garage doors that open to the street. Rent the garden for extra outdoor space, the gallery for cocktail hour, and the library for smaller meetings or work sessions.

Ideal location

Located on the west end of the downtown Bloomington Entertainment and Arts District, Fourth and Rogers is walkable to bars, restaurants, and hotels, so your out-of-town guests won’t have to worry about driving, parking, or Ubering in an unfamiliar city.

Repurposed and Reimagined

Share the story of FAR with your guests: built in 1925 as a neighborhood grocery store, Fourth and Rogers has been completely repurposed for the Bloomington arts community. We rent the space for private events and weddings to financially support arts programming throughout the year.
