Join us for an Artist Talk with Photographer Andres Mario de Varona. Varona will discuss the making of his series, Contact. With photography, he began creating rituals with his family after his mother’s death in 2016 and used them to re-examine the significance of death as a part of life.De Varona is a graduate of the IU photography program, and now lives and works in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The talk coincides with the opening reception of his 2 month exhibition and is free and open to the public.
