Inspired by Benjamin Rasmussen’s series of pageant photos, we will create felt sashes that celebrate our interests, hobbies, activities, and identity.

In his series, The Good Citizen, Rasmussen uses archival and contemporary photographs to ask us to engage more honestly with the history of the United States and how we view ourselves in relation to our society and culture. Read more about Rasmussen’s work here.
