A Humbird live performance is intimate and earthy. Inspired by the crystalline chill of the north country, Humbird combines a wintry longing with the warmth of a familiar folktale.

About the Band

The trio band with drums/percussion and double bass/electric bass nimbly prances around the lilt of Siri Undlin’s unfaltering fervent and haunting voice - the focal point. Although the songs and stories hold their own, the embellishments the band supply add the perfect splash of timbre and color to deliver a dynamic and engaging performance.

About the Handpicked Music Series

The Hand Picked music series is a series of concerts located at the FAR Center for Contemporary Arts.Located in the Fourth and Rogers neighborhood, this historic building offers beautiful acoustics and a truly intimate experience seating up to 160. The 505 Theater at FAR has been carefully restored and designed with live performance in mind, the large vaulted ceilings and 12-foot glass garage doors provide a venue unlike any other you will find in Bloomington. This series will bring in well-known names such as Carrie Newcomer, Alasdair Fraser, and Humbird for the 2022-2023 season.
