Join us as we explore what happens when mythos and oral tradition go wrong. Photographer and documentarian Jon Tonks is accompanied by a troupe of Chicago improvisers in an attempt to unpack his experience documenting the lasting effects of empire on the people of Vanuatu. Through standup, music, storytelling, improvisation, and fine art photography we’ll question the lengths we all go to in pursuit of our own crowns.
