About the lecture: Climate change provides an enormous wealth of critical problems, most of them really important and really hard. Fortunately, there are also important easy problems in confronting climate change. Sometimes, it’s good to start on some of the easy ones first. This talk will start with a review of the present (somewhat terrifying) rate of warming and then turn to a number of things we can do that actually matter a lot. We could even exercise our quantitative teeth on an experiment or two.
