Rania Matar | Artist Talk
At the Indiana University Eskenazi Museum of Art, join us for a visiting artist talk with Rania Matar. Rania is a Lebanese-born American photographer whose work explores the concepts of identity, universality, and cross-culturalism. Matar’s work is included in the Eskenazi Museum of Art’s exhibition Re/New: Recent Acquisitions by Contemporary Artists (through March 1, 2020) and in Pictura Gallery’s 2019 CENTER Winners Exhibition (through January 31, 2020). We’ve collaborated with the IU Eskenazi Museum of Art with support from the Center for the Study of the Middle East, Eskenazi Museum of Art, and the Center for Integrative Photographic Studies.
