About the instructor: Silvia Panigada, who leads our music and culture programming, has had ample experience with Latino/Hispanic music and education. She works with her mother, Sofia Panigada, who studied music education in Switzerland, to provide classes that harness play and movement as tools for experiencing and learning musical skills. They love incorporating aspects of their Latino culture into their classes such as Spanish vocabulary, history and tradition to make it a multi-dimensional learning experience for the kids, with fun as the number one priority.
Note about COVID: Masks are required for all participants. We will be in a large space that allows for distancing, has a CDC recommended air filtering system and we will have our big garage doors open for plenty of ventilation, weather permitting. Also, our instructors are both fully vaccinated. Parents are welcome to attend, please limit to one care giver per child to keep the numbers small.
