Participants will learn the fundamental shapes of calligraphy in the script style of copperplate, using a dip pen and a flexible nib with instructor, Chelsea Schoch.

About the Course

In this 3-hour afternoon class they will build a foundational understanding of tools and techniques to build both the lowercase and uppercase alphabets, as well as a few flourishes, giving them the confidence to continue study with a provided kit of materials and resources.

This course is designed for anyone looking for a fun, relaxed afternoon of exploring a truly enjoyable artistic medium. Open to those who have never picked up a calligraphy pen before, or more experienced students looking to add a new script to their toolkit.
