At FAR, the safety of our community and our staff is of utmost importance. We also understand that connection and celebration are vital to our well being. We are committed to being flexible and to working with the latest guidelines to help you celebrate and enjoy art safely.

Here are the steps we are taking to keep you safe:

  • We have reduced our open hours. Currently, we are open Wed-Fri from 2pm to 5pm. We are also offering free building tours and exhibit viewings by appointment.
  • We require that our staff wear masks and continue to socially distance, and we ask that our guests do the same.
  • We have multiple spaces that open up to the outdoors to provide additional air flow and ample space to spread out during events. We will open windows and doors whenever weather allows.
  • We have installed a building-wide NPBI air purification system to keep indoor events as safe as possible.
  • We will continue to follow the most current guidelines and mandates on safety and gathering sizes from the State, Monroe County, CDC, and FDA.
  • We will continue making exhibits, workshops and arts programming accessible virtually whenever possible. Check out our Virtual Programming page to see what we’ve been up to.

Please check back here for any updated COVID-19 protocols. You can also visit the Monroe County Health Department’s page for the latest information.
